     A. View one-"God is furious with me."

         1. The view of those in REBELLION

         2. The view of those in REJECTION

     B. View Two-"God is favorable toward me."

         1.  I am unique in God's CREATION.

         2.  I am the object of God's GRACE.

III. They See Jesus as a FOREIGNER not family

     A.  Jesus as a Foreigner

         1.  Foreigners are DIFFERENT

         2.  Foreigners are INTERESTING

         3.  Foreigners are TEMPORARY VISITORS

     B.  Jesus as Family

         1.  In a family there is ACCEPTANCE

         2.  In a family there is RESEMBLANCE

IV.  They see salvation as a FENCE not freedom

     A.  The CONFINEMENT that led to  freedom.
